If you are quarantined prior to your trip by order or other requirement of a government or public authority on the suspicion that you have been infected with coronavirus, you will be covered for cancellation if your insurance policy covers Cancellation.
Is Travel Cancellation insurance valid if the Competent Authorities of the country issue a travel warning for your travel destination prior to your trip?
The travel warning issued by the Competent Authorities is not an insured event. Contact your travel agent or travel provider for possible free cancellations or reservations by them (ie by your travel agent or provider). What if the authorities at your destination impose strict restrictions regarding security measures?
Cancellation due to strict restrictions regarding the security measures applying at your place of destination is not insured according to the Travel Cancellation insurance plan.
